In child labor, children are deprived of a life with school and in replace they do dangerous work. From Asia, to Africa, to America child work for large and small companies. And, from Asia, to Africa, to America the work is equally as dangerous and life threatening. In all, 11% of the world's children are forced into child labor and half of them live in life threatening environments. Instead of living a life like most Americans do, these children are challenged mentally, physically, and emotionally. “Today, there are 168 million children around the world at work instead of school. We can change this by ensuring that parents have better livelihoods. More than half of these children are engaged in labor deemed “hazardous” – i.e. it is harmful to the child’s physical, mental, spiritual, moral or educational development.” (International Labor Rights Forum) There are so many children in the world who are deprived of a life with school, safety, and money. These children live in very harsh conditions that are much different than the ones that we live in. They have to do dangerous work, that affects them in being more hurt. These children are not treated with the care they should get even though they work for billion dollar companies. So, next time you think about buying a Hershey's chocolate bar or a new pair of Nike’s, just don’t do
