Childcare Director Interview (My answers for these were taken from both past conversations I have had with the director as well as my cooperating teacher since the director was gone recently due to a family issue out of state. I saw here very briefly on my last day for the first time in a while and because she was in the middle of something I only got to thank her for letting me be there this semester before I left. So, I am focusing mostly on the program’s newly expanding private school named Legacy Christian Academy which the kindergarten class I was with falls under because that’s where I was able to get most of my information.)…

Laura was really helpful with answering the questions for me about the board. I happened to put in a request to interview an actor (Karl E. Landler--his interview will happen later), and this charming gentleman included Marem Hassler as part of that request. I was quite unfamiliar with her and her fantastic work, but as I have continued to interact with her and discover her impressive list of credits, she happily agreed to answer some comprehensive questions encompassing everything from her early work to her present projects as well her general philosophy of her career and her life in general. RH: Why did you decide to become an actress?…

I conducted my interview with a student at Longwood named Michael. He is currently a junior and has been here since he was a freshman. This interview was particularly easy, mostly because I expected his answers to be different as a man of color. While I realize that diversity is not prevalent in most areas the way it is in others, I feel that Michael and I had an extremely similar experience while growing up. I found that this interview surprised me because as a Caucasian woman, I did not expect a man, regardless of ethnicity to go through the same experiences.…
