Explain to me your child hood. Nothing personal, broad everyday life.
Youngest of 4 boys a younger sister he was and still is close to siblings. Parents were good to all kids never favorites. Provided all what they needed school cloths, never went hungry. Could walk to a friends never needed a ride anywhere they all had chores they had to do and they were expected to pass school because his mom didn’t graduate high school and she wanted all her kids to at least graduate high school.
What was your day to day school life like?
Had a paper route after school. He claims school was easy for him. Didn’t have to study listened well had good grades. A true natural.

If they did any holiday or regular weekends?
Both parents worked, dad on the rail road and his mother at Angies café the owner. After closing mom or whoever would go up to lake shetek almost every weekend. That was after closing up at the café they would go to shetek.
What is was your favorite holiday to spend with your family?
He said Christmas was his favorite, he said at that time we believed at Santa. We had to be good otherwise we wouldn’t be given anything, he found out Santa was bullcrap because of his older brothers. The best Christmas was after he got out of the service then everybody got together. The first time in 6 years.
The changing times, fads, and new technology
FM radio stared to come through around this time. 13 or 19 inch tv they had in their household with 3 stations. Rolled up cuffed jeans boys. Girls wore saddle shoes and their skirts now ended right before the knee. Boys were more daring at this time go skinny dipping at the gravel pits. Cigarettes rolled up in their sleeve. Cars still stuck the the inline 6 stage. Far more business in little rock in this time than now. 2 gas station 2 bars a roller rink. Hardware store lumber yard. 2 Military
