The following goals were selected as objectives for Melina's program based on home observations, assessment results and parent interview. Goals are outlined in Melina’s Individualized Program Plan, dated 10/10/2013.

1. Conversational Questions: Melina will increase conversational skills by responding to 1 new statement with various responses (i.e. Teacher: “I like friends” (Statement), Melina: “I like Rugrats. Currently, Melina is working to expressively identify what two things are missing, when given 5 different scenarios either in 2D pictures or within her natural setting (i.e.: Nose missing from a drawn picture, one chair missing from the dining room table, etc.), in an instructional setting, independently, free of prompting, with 80% accuracy in the opportunities provided.
4. Conversation (Phase 2): Melina will increase her expressive communication by appropriately responding to 5 new conversational statements and questions (i.e. Teacher: “Cherries are good (Comment). Why do you like cherries Melina?”(Question)), independently, free of prompting, in an instructional setting, with 80% accuracy in the opportunities provided. New Goal
