The child care provider does things in their home such as clean, do their laundry, pay bills etc. The child doesn't get the full attention as kids in daycare center do. There is times that guest come over which can be a neighbor friend family member and the child might feel intimidated since they have never seen that person and might feel scared. The child's parent might not even know their is guest coming to the child care provider home which might be something the parent doesn't agree with. In a child daycare center there is more than one employee which give more attention and are more alert on the child making sure their safe and aren't getting harmed or hurt by another of their peers. He would start observing what it's around him and the other toddlers around him. In the center he had more activities to do and more ways to interact with his caregiver then he was able to in the family day care.
