Child Care Center Persuasive Speech

Decent Essays
Good afternoon, Senator Schwenk I am inviting you to see that even the smallest child care center has a voice. This is one way you can go back to the Capitol and know that what you are doing for child care early learning is a good thing. I want to advocate for child care and early learning as a priority and this is one way I can increase awareness.
Some of the things I would like to show you are that I have a safe, nurturing environment for the children while they are in my care. This allows the parents to have peace of mind while they are at work. I believe in what I do as a teacher and support the families any way I can when they are in need.
When early care funding gets cut it effects not only the big centers but it affects me as well. Not all families want their children in a large facility. There is a lot to be said for a small facility like mine. The children are not a number they are an individual and they all deserve to be treated with dignity and respect. I take my time each day to do something for each of the children in my care on a daily basis. This could be anything of their choice from tying their shoe, doing a puzzle or playing house. What child doesn’t like to have an adult’s undivided attention?

This is tremendously valuable because this makes advocacy different, and even better, than a meeting in their office.
Therefore, I am extending an invitation to you so that we can find out what day or time work best for with your schedule. Also, I would like the children awake and participating in our semi-normal routine so you can see that early child care

Adoption implies an opportunity to be desired, adored, and appreciated despite the flaws you have, removing the misery of living alone and placing the blissful feelings of being surrounded by a family. Annually, thousands of children enter the foster care system and wait with anticipation for their chance of having a family again. According to UNICEF, the number of orphans globally in 2008 was approximated to be 132 million orphans.
