One problem that I think needs to be worked on is education in these countries. In many of the countries where you find an abundance of child marriages, there is not free education. For example, I am going to Uganda this summer and staying in a very poor area. In Uganda and many more underdeveloped and developing countries, kids have to pay to go to school. I know that the United States has a great economy and education system, but I am a firm believer that every child deserves the right to an education for free. I think that we need to work on global education as well as the issue of child marriages because they go hand and hand with each other. I also believe that they should start creating vocational and life skills programs for girls in women in these areas. I think that if communities start really seeing the benefits of keeping the girls in school and not married young, then they will really start to practice it. Obviously, the issue cannot not be stopped in a few months or years, but I believe if these programs continue to grow, it will have tremendous
