Physical abuse deals with parents or guardian’s leaving bruises, cuts, and sometimes choking a child/ children. My sisters and I (mainly me) suffered from this type of abuse as well. Sexual abuse deals with a relative forcing a child to have sex with them or making them conduct inappropriate things. Child Protective Services (CPS) checks up on 3.2 million children every year, but approximately, “2,498,000 referrals found to be non-victims were presumably guilty of abuse that CPS missed” (3.2 Million Children). It sickens me every time I hear about a child getting killed over something stupid. I remember that a couple of years ago, a mother killed her baby boy because would not stop crying and he was interrupting her Facebook time. I also remember hearing a story about a baby named Brianna who was only six months old at the time of her death and it broke my heart when I first learned about it. In her home, she was sexually abused by her father and her uncle and she was thrown around just to hit the floor and ceiling. When the cops came to her house, there were no pictures of her or any toys. When she was buried, her family (mainly her parents) placed a cage around her tombstone and filled it with trash. They also put an angel in it that had its finger on its mouth. I will attach a video of her story in my reference
