There are some parents that just give their kids an allowance and they do not make them do any chores. Then there are other parents who make their children do chores for an allowance. The parents who don't make their kids do chores, probably have the belief, that their child doesn't need to do any chores for money. One reason for that belief might be that, the parents might have also got paid an allowance as a child and didn't have to do any chores. Parents today, should be extra disciplined about chores and allowances. The parents should make their child do chores for an allowance.
Reason #1 - Money If children get paid to do nothing, what is that teaching them? The child gets taught absolutely nothing. When parents pay their child an allowance, it teaches the child how to earn money. Also, parents, who give an allowance to their child who does chores, teaches their child how to do and complete a job.

Reason #2 - Responsibility

Responsibility plays a key role in chores and money. As a result, with earning money, it teaches children that they should spend it wisely. It requires work to make that dollar. Earning money from chores also teaches a child to be responsible with their money. A child is not going to waste their money, if they know they have to work more to earn more money. The child will most likely save up their money.

Reason #3 - Work When a child works for an a allowance, it shows how much work is really required. When a child starts doing chores to make money, they start to realize how much work and effort that is required from them. Chores assist children with establishing a strong foundation for jobs in their future. Their chores mostly show that making money is not as easy as it might look. Chores really do help show a job is not always easy.
