Do you think that people should be able to keep their children if they are abusing them? Children are a precious miracle of life and people take for granted that special part of them. The abusers do not understand or see what they do to these children. Child abuse can cause health issues, have a huge impact on them throughout their childhood, and the abuse can affect their adulthood. The children suffer from many traumatic experiences and it can affect your whole life in many different ways such as, mentally, emotionally, physically, their personality, relationships, schooling, childhood, and adulthood. According to the statistics, approximately 899,000 children were victims of abuse and since 2005 nearly 62.8% (564,765) of them were subjected to both child neglect (Physical,Emotional,Medical). The definition of neglect is a type of maltreatment that refers to failure by caregiver to provide. Child neglect is usually noticed by nurses, doctors, day cares, relatives and teachers which they mostly suspect neglect in infants, toddlers, pre-schooled children. Signs of child neglect can be poor hygiene, inadequate medical care, poor weight gain or absences from school. Some types of child neglect are physical, educational, emotional, and medical. Physical neglect can be failing to provide basics for children such as, food, clothing and shelter. Child abandonment is a serious issue because children are unsupervised and the fear for their safety is real. They could start hurting themselves like cutting, burning and a life-time of low self esteem. This can make the child not want to thrive or try in life. Educational neglect could include not enrolling them into school at the correct age which will be leaving them behind. It will cause them to lose out on learning basic life skills, drop out, and then the special needs of those children are not met. This can be a serious threat to physical health, psychology growth and development. Emotional/Psychological neglect can involve witnessing/engaging in spouse abuse in the child’s presence. Allowing the child to take part in drugs and alcohol can be one also because it is putting the child in danger. Also, refusing or failing psychological care in other words, constantly belittling the child and withholding attention. Other types of emotional/psychological abuse can be ignoring, rejecting, verbally assaulting, terrorizing and isolating. This can cause the child to look poorly on themselves and in some of the worst cases this can lead to suicide. Lastly,
