According to Mothering and domestic violence article child abuse occurs when a parent or caretaker of the child fail or act in a way that causes injury, death, emotional harm or serious harmful actions of a child. There are many forms of child abuse which includes the following: neglect, sexual abuse, physical abused, exploitation and emotional abuse. Child abuse occurs in homes, schools, community and organizations. According to the World Health Organization there are 40 million child abuse every year, which only includes the reported cases only. A case manager who advocates for children because my interest is in children case manager will be able to give me information on her experience working with the children. The administrative personnel who will elaborate about the success of children department and achievements and the history of the agency program.
The type of evaluation I will be to assess the needs of the program participants especially if children needs are met when they come to get support. James House deals with no only children but adults who are impacted by drugs, violence, courts, homelessness. I choose my evaluation on children as that’s the population I would like to advocate when I complete my degree. By doing this I will have a concept of how children services are and what is expected of me as a child advocate. The evaluation will be a tremendous experience to get the basic information when am still in school. Am looking forward to this evaluation as I have a passion for children and I will be a great asset in supporting their needs.

It provides insights into the problem or helps to develop ideas or hypotheses for potential quantitative research. Qualitative Research is also used to uncover trends in thought and opinions, and dive deeper into the problem. Qualitative data collection methods vary using unstructured or semi-structured techniques. Some common methods include focus groups, individual interviews, participation and observations.
