Payton has had multiple past events and traumas in her life that have led to her unhealthy negative behaviors and diagnoses. As a young child, Payton’s family has been involved with Child Protective Services many times due to physical altercations and suspected abuse from her mother of being hit with an electrical cord. Payton has witnessed her mother being abused by boyfriends on numerous occasions, while also being physically abused by the boyfriends of being slapped and banging her head on the floor. She has also witnessed her uncle abusing his girlfriend and has been involved in an abusive relationship herself.
