On 5/18/17, Hennepin County Child Protection accepted a report of alleged neglect – inadequate attention to the educational needs of Sophia St Pierre and Rohnan St Pierre by parents Tiana Raphael St Pierre. Per reporter Sophia has missed 6 full unexcused days at school and Rohnan has missed 15 full unexcused days at school. Per reporter a principal letter was sent home on 10/31/16 and several letters, phone calls and in person meetings with Ms. St Pierre were done.
Outcome of Assessment:
This worker met with Ms. Tiana at Eden Prairie office on 5/23/17. Ms. Tiana appeared upset about the allegation. This worker explained the reason CP got involved and explained about the allegation. Ms. Tiana stated that she remembers her children getting sick few times with a cold and strep throat. Also, she reported that her son was sick with mono and he stayed home afterward.
