Child Abuse around the world
The topic that I believe does not get noticed enough is child abuse. Many people think that it has to be a certain type of home for things of this nature to happen, that’s not true. There have been many cases of child abuse that have been reported to the judicial system, however not enough cases have been reported or sent to trail. A report of child abuse is made every ten seconds. Yearly, referrals to state Child Protective Services involve 6.6 million children, and around 3.2 million of those are subject to an investigated report (Childhelp). This topic has a few subtopics I would like to highlight: Physical Abuse, Neglect, and Sexual Abuse.

There was a case reported in Dallas, Texas of neglect. There was a woman who knew of her daughter’s health conditions of diabetes. Instead of her seeking help for her daughter she allowed her daughter to suffer her complications of diabetes until it later caused her death (Verywell). Child neglect accounts for 75% of reported abuse cases (National Academy of Science 's Institute of Medicine). There should be some type of free education class offered to people around the world to help them with becoming a good parent to their children. Being that there are no real manuals on how to be the best parent, but there is information to tell you how babies are and can be. This educational class she be a requirement for all high school students. Teaching them about code purple. Code purple is for babies is awareness for babies who cries a lot and there is sometimes little to anything you could do to help them. However, it will help the parent see the symptoms before and can handle the situation in a safely
