The case involves a double homicide that occurred at 379 Waterford Loop, Rineyville, Kentucky on September 11, 2007 between the hours of 2am and 6am. The report came in to 911 dispatcher around 12pm on 9/11/07 by 9yo Matthew Peterson, who called and reported that his mother and grandmother had been shot. The Darlie Routier case is one of the most perplexing cases of accused filicide. Routier was accused and convicted of one count of capital murder in the killing of her two sons Damon age 5, and Devon age 6. The purpose of the previous study and results was to identify the possible perpetrator of the presented crime through blood analysis and match our forensic analysis with the characteristics and medical records of the missing person. In our blood analysis, we were given four samples of blood and the respective names of the suspects. In addition, Lowry police informed us that the second type of blood found, the one from the perpetrator, was O+. For this inquiry, our group hypothesized that based on blood analysis we would be able to match one suspects’ blood type to the information that was provided by the Lowry police. The blood sample results show that suspect number four’s blood type was O+, therefore we can conclude that Allen Dann matches…
