Chihuahua pups are actually a type of breed of dog that is named after the state in Mexico. While why they are named after that state is quite dubious, there seemed to be a connection with the dog and the state in Mexico as the first few progenitors of the Chihuahua were found there. As dogs, they are known to be one of the smallest size dogs in the world, with the biggest ones in the world growing as high as 15 inches in height.

Popularly known as handbag dogs, many women owners of the dog are often seen placing their dogs in their handbags. Now when you do take care of this dog, you need to know its characterisations. Chihuahua's are known for their devotion, their fierceness in any situations and their most striking and famous personality.
