This email is to serve as my letter of intent to apply for the Chief Residency for the year 2017-2018.

I believe that my training at Weiss has been a good opportunity to nurture my medical knowledge and skills. By applying them practically in the patient care settings I believe I have become a better physician in the process. I aspire to work as Chief Resident to gain more experience as a administrator, teacher and leader which in my opinion are equally vital for a practicing physician to exhibit to better able to serve the ever changing demands of Healthcare these days.

Since the start of the second year I had the opportunity to work and interact with my chief residents more closely than ever. I was able to appreciate how their guidance, teaching and supervision of the residents and interns at work can be immensely helpful in so many ways, Being a floor senior for the first time during just the second month of senior year could have been a daunting task if it weren't for my chief residents who helped me and guide me through the initial process. It is my pleasure to write this letter and express my sincere interest in a Family Nurse Practitioner program at TSU Division of Nursing. My nursing journey began in early childhood and was greatly influenced by my family. Both of my parents are in medical field, and taking care of patients was always an ordinary topic in the house. Nursing was a very natural choice for me as it was what I was interested in, and what I understood the most.…

Observing the visits was probably the most enjoyable part of my entire work experience at George R. Vierno Center, it was incredible to see how well officers worked together to control the safety of both themselves and inmates. I learned a lot more than I thought I would be able to in the limited time span. The stimulating presentation and conversations with correctional professionals and former offenders has been incredibly beneficial to me since I had no concept of what went on in the correctional facilities. My hard work paid off, I will be joining the boldest team in June 2017. I am upbeat and pleased that I have finished my course and I can now graduate and now call myself a correction…

The assignment for unit four has asked that I write a paper outlining some of the key highlights and notable points about the profession that I have chosen to pursue. The more I study and review the career field of a Healthcare Administration, the more excited I get about the possibilities that potentially await me. There are many different types of work that a person could get into with this particular field, but I am going to focus mainly on the Healthcare Administrator field as it pertains to a hospital or clinic. When a person chooses the vocation of Healthcare Administrator they have basically accepted a lifestyle that will for a time require a tremendous amount of time and effort in order to be successful. This person will spend long hours in the office completing all types of paperwork for regulatory items and then after they leave the office, go to a community function and promote their organization.…

Today’s goal was to introduce me to the site, the people that work in my department, the resources available to workers, and current projects. My volunteer supervisor, Geraldine Baptist, showed me around the hospital, specifically where I would normally sign in and sign out, the cafeteria, and the Occupational/Physical therapy outpatient department. Upon arrival at the OT/PT department, Ms. Baptist introduced me to the front desk secretary, Mauracell, a sweet, openhearted young lady. Mauracell warm welcoming made me extremely comfortable, and all anxiety was put to ease. Mauracell showed me around the office and work center, then introduced me to each person present and gave me a description of what types of things they work on.…

Also enjoyable was hearing the personal and warm stories about Silverton Hospital and the strong ties and commitment to serving the community. From putting your external departments and/or health care clinics in surrounding existing homes to please your neighbors and maintain the character of Silverton, to the sleep houses for your residents and the freedom of the deer meandering through the parking lot. Especially impressive was hearing about Dr. Olwyn Davies, who is 92 and is still actively practising medicine and serving several generations of his patients.…

I am writing to apply for the Administrative Fellowship at Children’s Mercy Hospital and Clinics. After reviewing the structure, goals, and benefits of this fellowship program and having the opportunity to talk to you about your experiences, I believe this is an excellent opportunity for me to continue to develop my career as a future health care leader. I am certain that Children’s Mercy Hospital and Clinics will align not only with my qualifications, but also will share my desire for a fellowship at an organization with a strong commitment to its community and the patients it serves. I began my fellowship search by looking for an organization whose values match my own. I sought after the right opportunity that would allow me the freedom to guide part of my experience through my personal interests, and…

I wanted to ensure that these groups of freshmen feel safe, prepared, and excited for all of the valuable opportunities available at CHS. In a way, I feel that I am helping them begin a fresh, new journey by guiding them in the right direction for success. From my experiences as a CAV Crew leader, I have developed a newly ignited passion for service and leadership. Even to this day, I can walk through the hallways and recognize some freshmen in my past groups and check in with them as a fellow Cavalier and friend. It is a rewarding feeling to know that I have made some difference–big or small–in the lives of those students.…

Move-in day was the highlight of my college career. As a freshman, I was preparing for a new term and feeling the eagerness for a new beginning. The transition from a traditional-styled home, to a communal dormitory space, is the start of one’s direction to adulthood and independence. Presiding in the learning community of Alvarez Hall forged me into the person I am today. Encountering a mixture of individuals with different sets of personalities and beliefs, allowed me to appreciate the culture and diversity the housing provides in order to cultivate the young minds of the future generation.…

From the beginning of my education, I have always been fascinated with working in medical fields. I have also always had my heart set on attending university in order to study my chosen subject, Paramedic Science/Practise. I have chosen this as it would lead to a career i would love to do due to my massive respect for paramedics and the exciting and challenging role they have. This respect stems from having many family members involved in the NHS and healthcare. My sister, for example, is a massive inspiration as she has managed to work her way up from a student nurse to Head Sister in one of the busiest A&E units in the country.…

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE Before I could read, I had my first introduction to the field of health care. My mother was a pharmacist who was constantly counseling patients about medicine. I recall being especially facinated by the enormous importance and need for pharmacists in our community. Throughout my childhood, I saw how much of an impact pharmacists had on the lives of others. As I became older, my thirst for knowledge about the medical field, particularly pharmacy, grew.…
