Keith Cozart, otherwise known as Chief Keef, is a famous dread-headed recording artist and rapper. To illustrate, they both grew up on the Southside of Chicago living with their grandmothers, and they both grew up completely broke living in the projects, encouraging them to sell drugs and run from the police. Overall, one of the obvious visual similarities is that they both have long dreadlocks. At the same time, both of these artists like to wear expensive brands, and designer clothes, so they dress similar. They both wear brands like Gucci, Louis Vuitton, and Goyard. Another one of these two rappers similarities would have to be their music style. They both rap about drugs, guns, money, and women, all over a hard trap beat with 808’s and deep-sub bass. However, an easily comparable trait shared between these two individuals is the way they deliver the vocals on their songs. That being said, Chief Keef and Famous Dex’s music is practically nothing alike. They both have physical differences, and beneath the surface differences. Such as, Chief Keef has long, brown dreadlocks, while Famous Dex has medium-length, red dreadlocks. Famous Dex is also a lot thinner than Chief Keef, probably because of all the cough syrup Keef drinks. In general, Chief Keef is definitely the more popular of the two artists. That being said, his career is going downhill with him going to jail, and not making as much music, while Famous Dex is releasing new songs every week, growing rapidly in popularity. Dexter and Keef are two comparable hip-hop artists in this generation. They both have a lot in common, and plenty not so in common. Their music is wildy different, but deep down it is similar and has the same meaning; guns, drugs, and money. After all, they both grew up in Southside Chicago.
