Gang and gun violence is still big because people go through hard serious life situations everyday that make people do crazy things. Nowadays the first thing people do when things get hard is go get a gun and do dumb things. In the article “why people join gangs” it says “Young people might feel that they don 't receive enough support or attention at home”. They are right with gang violence people go through things like young boys getting kicked out the house and they start to feel left out and like no one cares about them so they get street love and they might join a gang and from being in a gang get money put in they pocket and a place to lay there head at night so they stay in the streets and get dirty money from gangs. Gang and gun violence will never stop no matter how hard people try to stop
