Peafowl are exotic, beautiful birds. Most people are not educated about peafowl; most people don’t even know what the word peafowl means. Peafowl is the general term when talking about the peacock, peahen, or peachick. The peacock is the male, the peahen is the female, and peachick is the baby. People that do not raise peafowl nor educated in peafowl know what it takes to produce high quality feathers or chicks, that there is more than one variety of peafowl, nor do they know peacocks molt.…

Long bones function to support the weight of the body and facilitate movement. Long bones are mostly located in the appendicular skeleton and include bones in the lower limbs (the tibia, fibula, femur, metatarsals, and phalanges)…
A chicken wing is extremely similar to a human arm in many ways when compared to each other. First of all, chicken wings and human arms both have skin on their whole arm. Although a human arm might have more skin than a chicken wing they both have it across their whole arm, to keep them warm and keep everything in place. I learned this this after I started to dissect the chicken wing. This is because, both the chicken wing and human arm have skin cells which make up skin going through the whole arm.…
Eons ago, before the existence of the dinosaurs, there were two obese chickens living together, shielding the Earth against the hazardous forces of evil. However, after years of protecting the Earth, the chicken realized that someday they can no longer rule and care for the earthlings. Therefore, a legendary, world changing decision must be made to insure the safety of the innocent, little creatures. As a results, after incalculable centuries of thoughts, judgments, and frustration in the chickens’ majestic showers, the two mighty beasts finally understood that the final decision must be made no matter how large the risk is. Discuss fitness tests or methods of evaluation that should be used to assess the client, providing rationale for your recommendations. Be sure to address the specific conditions presented by your client. It will be important to consider that his body is still going through puberty when designing a program for him. This offers a great opportunity to encourage him though, as this is when he can set up what the status quo will be for his adult life regarding his physical fitness and overall health. CARDIO Swimming test, if available, would be preferable.…
Abstract: Every year, more than 11 billion pounds of unused feathers result from the poultry industry worldwide, which in effect impose a difficult disposal process to the environment. Chicken feathers are an abundant, inconvenient and troublesome waste product from the poultry industry that can be utilised as a source of keratin. In addition to keratin, feathers contain other fatty and waxy substances. An original chicken feather contains many biological organisms together with other dirt from when they were plucked from chickens. Unprocessed chicken feathers are potentially biologically hazardous, due to the presence of blood borne pathogens, so it is imperative that they are decontaminated upon receipt.…

With Halloween approaching, there has been an overwhelming presence of Halloween skeletons. Unlike many other fantasy Halloween creatures, the skeleton is real and often poorly depicted as a Halloween decoration. The bones in a real skeleton function as support, protection, movement, storage, and blood cell formation. This skeleton in particular is anatomically incorrect and would therefore function poorly.…
Discussion Immune reaction to viral invasion is important to combat virus growth and to minimize any damage that can be imposed on the host cells [30]. In this study, the host immune response in the bursa of Fabricius, an organ mainly colonized by B lymphocytes, was assessed upon infection by the avian virus NDV genotype VII IBS002 and genotype VIII AF2240. The cell population in the chicken bursa was evaluated by flow cytometry and the results showed that in normal chickens, this organ was predominantly occupied by B lymphocytes while the T lymphocyte and macrophage populations were at minimal cell numbers. Different from the cell population changes in chicken spleen upon NDV infection where CD4+ and CD8+ cells declined in their cell numbers…
