Chick-Fil-A Personal Statement

When I was little, I wanted to be a chemist. I imagined myself in the lab coat and with goggles on, carefully pouring electric blue liquids and jade green foam back and forth into various containers, until something had exploded and I had discovered the best way to make flowers the size of people. As I grew up, I lost this fantasy, but I gained more knowledge on how I wanted to influence the world. Funnily enough, I discovered what I really wanted to do when I started working at Chick-fil-A during the summer before my sophomore year. All of my friends had warned me against working in fast food, quoting horrible smells and ridiculous customers and tons of grease. But I had a sister who had been working at that Chick-fil-A for a few months, …show more content…
But just plan customer service isn’t what I strived for—I wanted to discover new solutions and solve difficult problems. Although my dream career of chemistry had ended, my interest in science and math had not. The biology class that I took my junior year had one underlying theme: Everything is connected. This, along with what we learned about plants and animals and genetics and ecology, really inspired me to look at the world in a new light. Not only could I work to serve and help others, but I could promote the importance of responsible fishing to ensure renewable resources for future generations, or I could help discover cures to disease people have been struggling with for years, or I could help a two-legged dog walk happily again and be reunited with a loving …show more content…
I toured for a day and came back inspired and ready to make a change at CSU. The fact that the students and faculty were truly able to reach out to me and influence me to make a difference in only a day shows the university’s amazing ability to inspire others throughout the world. I want to be a part of an institution that will leave a lasting impact on the world—and Colorado State University will allow me to make permanent, lasting connections with others that I can use to impact and influence future generations. I want to be able to inspire others with the same enthusiasm that the students and faculty at CSU displayed, and help them realize that they are not just a number, but instead a unique and valued individual that can make a difference in the world

Possible alternatives to solve the issues that Chick-fil-a are facing is first of all to open more locations than they have in the past especially in the west of the US. When opening more locations within the US, this can lead to more profits thus adding more capital to their budgets. Location openings can be within malls, outside stand alone locations, and college locations to help in the aid in building more relationships with athletics and increase capital. Since I have moved out to the west coast one of the hardest things was finding out that there was no Chick-fil-a close and I mean within 50 miles. Another issue Chick-fil-a is facing that may never change is political and societal views that are contradictory from their biblical beliefs.…

There are multiple great fast food chains around the world. But one of my favorite places has to be Chick-fil-a. Chick-fil-a is a fast food chain that sells food only with chicken. They are mostly known for their cow mascot that has the famous catchphrase “Eat more chicken.” The main reason I like their restaurant is because their restaurant tends to have more of a placid atmosphere than the other fast food chains. They also make their employees be kind and tend to the customers' needs.…

I have tried to obtain leadership roles in various extracurricular activities throughout my high school career to help make a bigger impact on kids life's. I love to lead and be apart of something that is positive, for example being apart of FFA has shown me how far a simple ten cans of food can do. Simple things can turn around someone's day, FFA donates can goods, also dog and cat food to local animal shelters. From hosting events such as Legacy’s Business Week carnival day, to Business Council’s Impact day, I was given opportunities to explore the inter-workings of the College of Business. Legacy and Business Council establish great emphasis on service and giving back to the community. Being heavily involved with the two organizations, such as taking a leadership position in Business Council, I have been able to understand many different interests and ultimately have developed a passion for philanthropy. One of College of Business’s greatest aspects is its mission to prepare future leaders of business, education and public service around the world.…
