The Chicago heat wave of 1995 was the worst summer chicago has ever seen. It was caused by a heat dome that formed over Chicago. It effected over 700 deaths in Chicago because of the heat. It changed the lives in Chicago to be more careful. Who knows maybe there’ll be a even hotter summer thanks to global warming.

The heatwave of 1995 was caused by high pressure and extreme heat. A heat dome started the Heat Wave over Chicago. The dome caused high pressure over Chicago. The high pressure acted as a lid on the atmosphere. The air tried to escape the dome, the high pressure caused the air to sink. Air was forced to warm up even more as the air was sinking.
