Admission is a competitive process, and a limited number of scholarships are available. Applications are reviewed holistically and the highest achieving candidates are admitted. Students who do not qualify upon admission to the University may apply after completion of 30 or more credit hours of college-level coursework. But if admitted to the university, students will have a wide variety of not only majors to choose from, but a variety of scholarships to potentially obtain, and also numerous job opportunities after completion of the university. Courses in the Department of Fine Arts, Design and Liberal Studies combine critical thinking and social awareness with practical skills in communication technology as well as oral, written, and artistic expression.
