In some areas it is possible to see the differences in soil in crops and establishments. In the film, Vikings Unearthed, we were able to see archaeologist Sarah Parcack use satellite imagery to hunt for new undiscovered Viking settlements throughout the world. With the aid of cameras that allow to what is underneath the ground through satellites hundred of miles above the earth, we can find establishments or new discoveries near the Chevelon Pueblo. We will take into consideration the soil samples, weather, the methods used to excavate, remains, sampling strategies, test pits sizes, and the personnel that worked in the project. Artifacts will also be sketched, photographed, and taken to the lab for further analysis. Based on the information we already have about the site and the methods used to excavate, I can assume that the site became abandoned all at one time. If it has been gradually abandoned over time, not everyone would have been able to fix at the site, since many of its rooms were burned.
