Our paper is about sunscreen, oncology, and cancer and how it relates to chemistry. It tells you what sunscreen is, how it affects the body, and what cancer and oncology are. The purpose of this paper is to show what we know and understand about chemistry. We show that we know how chemistry is used in everyday life and how it is in things we use on a daily basis, such as sunscreen.

There are many different forms of treatment Oncologists use when trying to cure cancer because cancer is a very complex disease that can take many forms. Some ways are chemotherapy, surgery, radiation, bone marrow transplants, and immunotherapy. The most common forms of treatment is chemotherapy and radiation. Chemotherapy is the use of multiple drugs to target and kill cancer .One drug used in chemotherapy is known as VP-16. VP-16 is also known as C29H32O13, which is a covalent bond. Covalent bonds occur between two or more non-metals but an ionic bond occurs between a metal and nonmetal. This covalent bond is polar. This compound is used more opposed to others because it is more effective in attacking the cancerous cells. Oncologists do require more education in the medical field than your ordinary doctor due to the fact they are dealing with more complex matters and diseases. Sunscreen, Skin cancer, and Oncology are all related because sunscreen can help in reducing your risk of skin cancer. When reducing your risk of skin cancer, you reduce your risk of having to go to an oncologists and undergoing many uncomfortable treatments.
