Laila’s ideal setting for learning would be in a classroom that has a structured environment that allows for the use of technology, and social interaction. Laila learns best in small groups with lots of interaction using games, flash cards, and counting manipulatives. Based on discussions with Laila’s Pre-K teacher, and other observations, we’ve noticed that she responds well to instruction that includes songs, music, and role play; and Laila thrives on positive reinforcement.
