It was a beautiful outside. I put my old shoes on and went out. The shoes that I had were falling apart. I told my mom to get me new ones.
She said, “ You don’t need new ones, the ones you have are perfectly fine. I replied angrily, “I have rips on the side of them. For crying out loud, you can see my feet!”
My mom wouldn’t get me new shoes so I just put duct tape on them. I went outside to shoot hoops when I heard something.
“Ryan, come over here,”called Brandon.
I ran as fast as a cheetah to Brandon.
“What do you want,” I said. “ Dude, I found this abandoned building in the woods,” said Brandon. “Really, what did it look like?” I said. Brandon replied, “It was tall with windows. The building looked like it had been there for many years because it was a greyish, black color.” I said, “What is it about this building that you wanted to tell me?” “Well, I wanted to know if you were interested in going in the building”, explained Brandon. I replied, “ I don’t know, let me think about that. Anyways, I have

I went up to my room and laid on my bed. I stared at the ceiling. I thought I would go. You only live once right? The next day at school we talked about it.
“Brandon, I will go. In order to do this right we have to plan this out,” I said. Brandon exclaimed, “ We should go to your house and have a sleep over. We should leave during the middle of the night when your parents are sleeping.” I replied, “Alright, we have to do this quickly and not make any sounds. I guess I will see you later tonight?” Ryan asked, “ I guess I will see you then.”
Brandon came over around eight o’clock. We ate pizza, played video games and waited till my parents went to bed. Around eleven thirty my parents went to sleep. A Taste of Domesticity in Stokes State Forest Throughout my four years of high school, I had never had a friend come back from a post-prom weekend in Wildwood and describe to me what sounded like a “good time.” The stories they told always had the same synopsis that centered around drunken fun and even drunker stupidity. Hordes of juniors and seniors slept in small dirty motel rooms. They spent way too much money on alcohol, and they often got swindled into paying hundreds of dollars to stay in an otherwise dirt cheap motel because no decent place would allow teenagers to party like they did. They sat in their hotel rooms and drank the beautiful New Jersey beach days away, waiting for the sun to set so they could continue their drunken…

I didn't know how to tie my laces for a long time. I tried all the methods people showed me; spinning the laces which are snakes, into loops and tie them to make a knot, and tying a lace around a loop to create a knot. No matter which method I tried I would never succeed. Whenever I tried to tie my laces I would tuck my laces into my shoes because when I tried to tie shoes I had with laces on them, the laces would always come apart, and I ended up just sitting there like a rock. One method I used to use to tie my laces was to spin the laces around each other once and tie them multiple times, but the laces quickly came apart.…
