On a Friday night in front of a student section, cheerleaders get out there and cheer their team on with pride. They get the team pumped, the crowd excited, and students screaming in excitement. Before it’s a thrilling Friday night it takes hard work and dedication for the cheerleader to perfect their moves, cheers, and routines. Cheerleaders should be able to lift their teammates and be in shape so they are able to move around quickly without running out of breath. Although, people might not think that cheer is a sport, cheerleaders have to go competition, they sweat, stay hydrated, and do everything else that all other sports do.
