We do more than jump and put our arms in the air. We throw people over our heads, catching them most of the time. We paint signs and make sure the school is represented well. We make sure that our basketball players are well supported. They also throw ourselves across the floor at fast speeds doing flips. When the team is losing the game it is really hard to be happy and cheerful. Usually when you are losing, you go out onto the floor and you do a cool, crowd involving cheer and the crowd just stares because they do not understand why you are cheering them on. Cheerleaders are always happy, even when the team is losing. It is hard to keep yourself under control when you really don 't know what the team is doing.
The sixth reason that cheerleaders are the hardest working athletes is that they are crowd-involved athletes. As a cheerleader, you do not get to just pretend the crowd is not there. The crowd yells, and supports with you. They make sure that team knows that they are loved. It cheers on them on, and makes them want to do better. They want to do better because they want to show everyone they have something to cheer on.
Although people would argue that cheerleaders are not athletes, they are definitely the most hardworking sports participants. They say this because they don 't play a game, or play against another team. This is true, because they really do not play a game. They stand on the sidelines and cheer on the team that they represent. However, they do all the stuff other athletes do. They practice everyday like other sports, they run, weight lift, and show up to every game. They may not a catch a ball, but they do work hard to achieve the goals they have set for
