Many teenagers are outraged because they strongly believe that school dress code should apply to cheerleader uniforms as well. However, others contend that cheerleading outfits are a tradition and are fine just how they are. Ultimately, cheerleading uniforms should comply with dress code regulations because the cheerleading skirt is well above the length limit, since all girls must follow dress code regulations, cheerleaders should too, and because short cheerleading skirts are improper and provocative.
