As of recent years a new type of entertainment has run rampant becoming one of the most profitable businesses in the world. Advertised and sold around the world, videos games have now become an ever growing craze. Perhaps its most impressive quality is the rapid growth of the gaming community. Along with this vast market came a vast breed of gamers. Gamers can be broken down into various categories based on a plethora of things. From their approach to games in general, to how much time or effort they dedicate to gaming, all the way to what games they play and how they play them, gamers cover a wide array of personalities and traits. For me however, gamers can be broken down into five categories: the casual, the dirty casual, the try-hard, the completionist, and the cheater.

First off there is the casual gamer. These types of gamers are characterized by their approach to gaming which is, well… casual. Casual gamers can be into all types of games, whether it be as simple as a mobile phone game or as complex as a real time strategy game. The main purpose casual gamers seek is enjoyment. This gamer will win at any cost, often sacrificing morals and ethics to do so.The cheater is the number one most hated type of gamer in the community because cheaters simply ruin games. The cheater has the same motivation of ranking the highest, dealing the most damage or having the most pimped out gear as any other gamers, but is more than willing to cheat or exploit loopholes achieve those goals. A cheater usually arises when an unmotivated individual want to be the best without logging in the hours of hard work. While their skills on infiltrating games are sometimes quite impressive, their actual gaming skill is minimal or pathetic. The cheater gets anxious about live versus matches they cannot manipulate, but often he or she finds a way to cheat in these matches as well. Overall, no one likes a
