It is important to understand what drives a customer to purchase in order to effectively tailor and market ones product or service. The motivation behind purchasing a solar powered charger would be to keep phones powered conveniently using sunlight while in the outdoors to keep in touch with family for safety reasons (emotional) and use GPS (logical) especially hikers.
