In this week’s journal, I am going to talk about an interesting topic. That topic is about charter school. I have heard about charter school before. However, I did not enough or sufficient information about charter school. Last week, I was driving home and listening to NPR radio station program “Here & Now”. So, I am going to summarize the discussion and write about what I have learned from listening to that discussion. The title of the debate was “A Closer Look at the Debate Over Charter School”. His answer to the question indicated that there are many things that could improve charter school such as improvement in the area of accessibility, accountability, transparency and finding a method to make them work much better within the educational system. She mentioned that there are other problems with charter schools that include not following regulation, or adhere to regulation that help children with special

These reforms have caused much of the funding used for public schools to be transferred to different programs, such as vouchers, and charter schools, these options are the main interest of profiteering, fraud, and exploitation by large and small entrepreneurs. Where we are at the moment is not an attempt to reform the school but it is a deliberate effort to replace public education with a privately managed, free-market system of schooling, this is an interest held purely for profit and not to educate the youth and help the younger generation learn and move…
