Charlotte Alessandra is a beautiful princess who is a free spirit and believes she shouldn’t have to be like the other princesses. Zack Brekket is a handsome prince who refuses to get married despite his parents constant efforts and the line up of families asking for his hand in their daughters’ marriages. Both sets of parents, the kings and queens are struggling with their children and searching for solutions.

King and Queen Alessandra are going along with their daughter, Princess Charlotte to a ball held in a nearby kingdom. Charlotte is getting ready and fitted into her ball gown when she really wants to be in the stables. Zach is putting on his suit and decides he wants to take a walk outside. Heading out into the lavish gardens he decides to walk in the direction of the stable. Once her ball gown is fitted, Charlotte changes into something more suitable for a run and sprints to the stables so she can mount a horse and get riding. Zach spots a girl in the distance and runs up to her to see what a lady is doing on a horse as he knows his mother has never touched a horse much less actually ride one. Zach and Charlotte look at each other, confused for a few moments before Zach speaks “hello, I’m Zach and you are…” Charlotte fills in the silence “Charlotte”. “it’s a pleasure to meet you Charlotte, but what are you doing in the stables?” Zach questions directly. “Riding a horse obviously” Charlotte cannot believe how someone can be so ignorant “men” she adds under her breath. Zach sees this as an opportunity to go for a ride and silently mounts a horse. Charlotte looks at him confused and then gallops off with her horse at a higher speed than Zach has seen anybody ride before and that is coming from someone who has competed in racing competitions in kingdoms all around the storybook world. He spots Charlotte with her parents, “Where were you? You had us worried sick. The ball starts in less than an hour”, her parents scold. Zach sighs and Charlotte and her parents turn to face him. Charlotte smiles while her parents look confused, “she was with me” Zach says. King and Queen Alessandra’s expressions soften, “well we will leave you two alone then, make sure you are back in time for the ball.” Charlotte mouths a thank you to Zach and he grins. The two walk toward the rose garden and sit on a marble bench. This moment is filled with silence before Zach breaks it, “so those were your parents”. Charlotte laughs, “they’re not really like me as you can see”. Zach laughs and responds, “my parents might be worse… they keep trying to get me married”. Charlotte responds surprised, “so you don’t want to get married?” “I just want to marry the right person”, Zach responds with a faraway look, “I think I’ve met her”. Charlotte looks up at him suddenly intrigued and slightly jealous, “so who is she?”. Zach looks at her and says one word that changes everything, “you”.
