Popular singer Charlie Puth has revealed that he almost died during the songwriter’s childhood years due to a dog bite while record producer Meghan Trainor noted that her kiss with Puth at the 2015 American Music Awards was only for the song performance.

When Puth was only two years old, a dog apparently bit the American singer’s face and messed up Puth’s right eyebrow permanently.

Likewise, Puth clarified in a Twitter post that the incident caused a head trauma that almost proved to be fatal. While the successful artist survived the dog bite, the scar located at Puth’s right eyebrow has been a constant reminder of the horrific event, according to CBS News.

The tweet has since informed the public that Puth did not have the weird-looking right eyebrow just to stand out from others.

Immediately after singing “Marvin Gaye,” Puth proceeded to passionately kiss Trainor as the “All About That Bass” singer invited Puth to come closer.
