The Story of Charlie Lockhead
Edward Lockhead and Sarah Towsend came over from Dublin Ireland for work. They only brought their clothes on their back. It was a sunny day on March 16,1937. Sarah Towsend and Edward Lockhead were in Episcopal Hospital had a baby named Charlie Joseph Lockhead. Guess who that is? My grandfather ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍They brought Charlie home to 2728 Howard Street Philadelphia. It was in the city. He loved celebrating holidays with friends and families. Soon Charlie wasn't a baby anymore. He Grew super fast. He was about to start school at Sheppard Elementary School. He made a lot of friends and learned a lot. Some of his friends were John Hunter, Frank Haley, Mike Haley, Rita Baumeister, Dyke Shalkie, And Bud Boebouck. He
