Charles Richard Drew was born on June 3rd, 1904 in Washington, D.C. a African American physician who found way to process and store blood plasma in “blood banks”. He controlled blood plasma programs for the United States and Great Britain in WWII, but he resigned after the ruling that blood of the African Americans would eventually be segregated Dr.Drew Died
April 1st, 1950. Dr.Drew found some unusual discoveries when in storage and processing of blood for transfusions. He managed 2 of the biggest blood banks during the time period of
