Charles Dicken, fully known as Charles John Huffam Dickens is an English writer who has written well known books such as Oliver Twist, Great Expectations, A Christmas Carol and many more. Even though he had little formal education, he still came to fame by his mid-twenties. After the loss of his brother and the family’s move to london, Dickens had to starts working at a shoe factory. He worked to earn money which was later used to pay for his room and board while his siblings stayed in a prison cell with their father, John Dickens. The family soon left the prison home to go live with Charles after John negotiates with his creditors with a small inheritance that he received.
