Charles Darwin (a naturalist) created a theory called Natural Selection from his observations. Natural Selection is the preservation of favorable variations and the rejection of injurious variation stated in Origin of Species. Species are in certain environments and they have to survive through harsh landscapes. While animals endure the trials, some animals may die and some continue living because individual animals did not have particular traits to survive in those environments. The environment changed the traits of the survivors who were able to endure the trials so they transformed into a new species. These acquired traits allows them to survive their environment they are exposed to.

Darwin is fully confident that future naturalists will have open minds’ to learn and accept his theory as a fact. If they are able to believe that an animal can improve in time, then they will have no trouble understanding and accepting the true functions of natural selection. This is Darwin’s view of natural selection improving people’s mind capabilities in addition to reaching the acceptance of Darwin’s theory of natural selection. Slowly but surely, people will reach the state of opening their mind to other ideas, thus natural selection achieving the perfect state of mind for
