As soon as he was born everybody new that he was going to be king, making his life unique as soon as he saw light. But he was able to conquer many kingdoms to make an empire. When you make a kingdom all you have to do is conquer land taht has not already been conquered or just conquer cities, villages, and communities.
Charlemagne was a man who encourged education. In the empire it is only supposed to be the nobles and the priests who are able to read and write. But Charlemagne wanted to make sure that he would not be able to be tricked into signing a treaty that actually states that he giving away control of the land. Apart from that he also thought it would be a good thing to be educated in times of peril.
As earlier discussed Charlemagne may or may not have been involved with a few scandals. If you recall Charlemagne was accused of killing his own brother to seize control of the whole kingdom. Charlemagne got the smaller and poorer part of his father's kingdom. Also he did not let people practice their own beliefs.
