Not much information is given about the main protagonist in “A&P” except his name and some information on his family. But while reading I visually created an image of how he looks, talks, his statue, and build. An actor that I feel would be perfect for the role of Sammy would be Asa Butterfield. Asa has dark brown hair, pale skin, and blue crystal like eyes. He is skinny young man standing at 5 feet and 11 inches. I think it would be best if Sammy slight slouches and gives off the demeanor of a slacker or an average student (not failing, but barely passing). This look would make sense to me because the girls didn’t seem that interested in Sammy so I think he starts off as a character who doesn’t quite stand out. Based upon the actions of Sammy
