How you meet those goals is Jordan’s last principle. He calls it “employing a strategy.” He states “You need to employ a strategy that give people massive amounts of value.” Having a plan and more importantly one that people will want to follow requires strong leadership skills. Mr. Belfort was able to build his wealth and implement a strong business plan that made himself and his employees rich.
In the end, Jordan Belfort was a strong transformational leader. He was able to bring out the best in his employees and infected everyone around him with a greatness. However, Jordan also used his power of persuasion to act immorally, unethically, and his entire operation suffered.
