Significant Other Essay

You hear often of this “perfect person” everyone is so desperate to find and you think to yourself, who actually is this perfect person you hear so highly of? Well, to tell you the truth, you will never meet the perfect person they’re talking about but, that doesn't mean that you won't meet your own “perfect” person. Imagine everything you like about people, physically and mentally and jam that into a single person, that is your perfect person. As for my Dad, however, he kind of surprised me. Instead of the typical answers I was expecting him to put down some down to earth responses. He put down loyal, well mannered, hard working, responsible, and good family values. While being similar to my traits they didn’t match my guesses at all. That's what I learned from my parents, that I shouldn't care what others think of the person. If I think there the right person for me then I should go for it. Also, I learned that finding this ‘’perfect person’’ won’t be an easy task and that I should never settle for someone i’m not happy with because it’s not worth living the rest of my life unhappy because I was too hasty. My parents will always be there to give their two sense on the girl i'm with and help me find the one for me, but at the end of the day the decision is mine to make and the ring is mine to

Lone Wolf’s early life experiences took place within the Native community that had few material resources, and little economic or political control, due to a militaristic federal government imposed program that attempted to indoctrinate American Indians. Beginning in the 1870s, the federal government implemented institutionalized education as a strategy of assimilation. The intent of boarding schools was to force American Indian youths to become United States citizens by removing them from their Native culture. During Lone Wolf’s childhood, the program was implemented across the country, and many public schools barred or discouraged American Indian children from attending. In Montana, Lone Wolf experienced firsthand the boarding school’s military-style…
