ENJF 's are givers; we understand and care about people. We have a way of bringing out the best in people we focus on giving love and support, and ensuring that others have a good time. We have excellent people skills. With unselfish motives, we are able to influence people to do what we want to make things happen for them. We take personal satisfaction from being the catalyst of change in people’s lives.
On the flip side ENFJ 's are so focused on supporting and encouraging others that we tend to forget about ourselves. We are so externally focused and encouraging to others yet very hard on ourselves and our view can be gloomy when we are alone. The spiritual gift of exhortation is often called the "gift of encouragement." It means to exhort, call upon, to lift up and to encourage. (Spiritual gifts). The purpose of the gift of exhortation is to remind people of the powerful and amazing work of God in Christ, and that Jesus died for our sins so that we could have everlasting life. Romans 12:8, English Standard Version reads “the one who exhorts, in his exhortation; the one, who contributes, in generosity; the one who leads, with zeal; the one who does acts of mercy, with cheerfulness. What I discovered is the way that I connect with people is an extraordinary gift. I look after my people and make things happen for them both personally and professionally.
