Everyone wears a mask that represents them. No two mask are the same, every single one of them is unique. The mask contains your thoughts and your character traits. Everybody possess good traits and bad traits. The good and evil sides coexist to make the person who they are. The right side of my mask is where my evil traits are represented. The timer on the mask represents my lack of patience. I always find my self loosing patience everyday. It could be because I’m waiting for something or helping my cousin with homework and does not understand the lesson. I also lose my patience when I fail a couple of times. The streets represent that both the good side and the bad side are connected to form one character. In this case all the streets form one long street. The streets also show that I like walking around the city with my friends looking for something to do. The red dots on the streets represent blood. The blood is symbolic to the violence that the city of Newburgh is known for. Growing up in a city know for its crime has definitely shaped the way I act. Wether its with the thought of always watching your back when walking or the way I talk with slang and bad grammar. Growing up in Newburgh has definitely shaped the way I see the world and especially the way I look at my future and money, it has made me appreciate the vale of a dollar a lot more. For example in the novel Lord of the Flies by William Golding the reader is presented with a boy named Jack who starts of as a good boy. However as the story progressed he became evil.
