In reality, its form and direction is upward. Flame of a fire is always cone shaped. Anytime we look at a flame, we can see a cone with its sharp part upward. Natural form of flame is constant and steady, and as explained above, Dryness means un- changeability of shape. Here it means un-changeability of shape in Fire flame, which is always cone-shaped and upward.
3) What are the Meanings of Lightness and Heaviness in Four Elements?
The order of four Elements—from the lightest to heaviest-- is Fire, Air, Water, and Soil. Fire is the highest, and Soil is the lowest in terms of lightness. It means that Fire is the lightest Element and always tends to move upward. Soil, on the other hand, tends to move downward. Each element tends to settle in its original place. To elaborate on the concept, the following examples are provided.
Example: If a piece of rock is held in a high place, it quickly moves downward upon being released. It doesn’t move upward, never! For its original place is on the Earth (Soil), which is at the lowest

Beside the concerns of combustion and calcination, Lavoisier claimed that the matter of fire played a great role in explaining the states of gases, liquids and solids. He suggested that whether something is a gas, liquid, or solid depended on the amount of the matter of fire that could affiliate with it. He concluded that liquids and vapors/gases had much more of the matter of fire while those in the solid state contained very little of it or none at all. Therefore, in order for a material to catch fire, pure air must be present since the matter of fire within it contributes to the formation of a…

The symbolism of fire can represent knowledge, awareness, rebirth, and destruction. The use of fire was first questioned when Guy Montag first met Clarisse McClellen and she brought up a new thought for what the purpose of fire could be used for; "Is it true that long ago firemen put fires out instead of going to start them?"(8). Guy Montag could only help but laugh thinking to himself how silly that idea could be but later questioning the possibility because all he knew was fire was meant for the destruction of books but couldn 't think of…

The Bhagavad-Gita is a rather small section in the overall massive text of the Mahabharata. However, the size of this passage had no effect on its ability to influence. The likes of Henry David Thoreau, Ralph Waldo Emerson, Annie Besant, and Mohandas K. Gandhi were all inspired or influenced by this text. The Bhagavad-Gita wouldn’t be the inspiring text is it today if it hadn’t been influenced by many other religious texts that came before it. The Bhagavad-Gita takes ideas from other religious texts and reinterprets them to fit with its own agenda.…

On the other hand, weight is the measure of the force of gravity acting on the mass. Mass is measured in kilograms, while weight is measured in newtons. The density of an object is found by dividing the mass by the volume. Buoyancy is the upward force of a liquid which counters the weight of an immersed object.…

A periodic table a chart organizing elements by atomic numbers and chemical properties into groups and periods. Our world is made of elements and combinations of elements called compounds. An element is a pure substance made of atoms that are all of the same type. At this given time, 116 elements are known, and roughly about 90 of these occur naturally. But how do we know what elements are in our universe?, Scientists have developed many theories as to why and how we know. These theories consist of mainly the Big Bang Theory and how it had created the first and lightest elements in our universe, or Red giants(Dying stars) because as the dying star’s core begins to run out of hydrogen it begins to die and create carbon atoms as a result of it’s death, another piece of evidence we have on this topic is supernova’s because star releases a very large amount…

    4) Elements can be created naturally through processes such as the big bang or other methods conducted by scientists. Scientists are able to create elements by using atomic colliders and quantum calculation. One process that scientists use to create new elements is to add protons one by one into an atom. This would increase the atomic number of the element which would change the identity of the element. The addition of protons causes a repulsion between the atoms because two positive forces repel one another.…

Symbolic Importance Fire is the first and most obvious symbol of Prometheus. This is because he stole fire and gave it to humankind against the will of Zeus. Fire, in this case, symbolizes intelligence and progress. Without fire, humans would not be able to technologically advance and the hope that Prometheus gave them would serve no purpose (Chevalier, 772). Fire is also widely known as a symbol of pain.…
