Without using tact you would be unable to keep the aggresion level down by choosing the correct words or the best way to say them in a way that would not be detrimental to unit cohesion and by doing this you would make mission accomplishment a much higher success rate and the ability of the team would benefit greatly from the ability for the unit members to use tact to control not only their words but their actions as well.Another omportant factor of tact is the timing. the proper timing of when to say something If you openly bring up a private matter of a team mate in a public setting that is a good way to destroy unit cohesion and the unit effectiveness the real meaning of Tact isbeing discriminating about what we say.
