INTRODUCTION
OVERVIEW
Multimodal biometric face and fingerprint recognition using XOR configuration system based on adaptive principal component analysis and multilayer perception. Multimodal biometric is a combination of physiological and behavioral characteristics into a single biometric system. The important cause to combine singular traits is to get improve recognition rate and accurate result. This is done when feature and trait of biometric are statistically independent. The other reasons to combine biometric is that different traits are more appropriate in different situations. For banking application, a customer might enroll using face and fingerprint or voice. 1. Physiological Biometric
Measure a shape of a piece or particular part of the structure, of a subject body is known Physiological biometric. The types of physiological biometric are:
Retina Scan: It is a light- sensitive film at the rear of the eye that covers regarding 60 to 65 % its interior surface. It show when photo with red eye that’s the reflection of the retina.
Face Recognition: Static measurements of a specific part of human being face using camera or sensor to identify person.
Hand Veins: Interesting pattern of veins and also the bones and other elements in your hand.
Iris Scan: Iris is the complex collection of little muscles that are green, brown or blue eyes.
Hand Scan: Collection of lengths, angles and geometry of plus muscle, tissues, ligaments and 27 bones.

Finger image or raw finger image is enhanced, preprocess, and feature extracted including minutia, valley and ridge structure to improve quality and speed of recognition. I select FFT in my project for fingerprint recognition .some time the input finger image are not satisfy the certain condition of FFT such as feature of finger image are store in database but coefficient vector of that image are larger then the pervious store image then the FFT method do not understand that image vector and not work properly. FFT is very reliable and accurate method for fingerprint recognition. I select FFT method for Fingerprint recognition in my project because it is a more reliable method and fast calculation .The implement of FFT method are very robust and
