Test results from the Humanmetrics website ("Personality test based on C. Jung and I. Briggs Myers type theory") determined that I am an INTJ. This means I am an Introvert (47%), iNtuitive (6%), Thinking (53%), Judging(44%) or INTJ classification. The INTJ personality type comprises about two to four percent of the population according to the Myers & Briggs Foundation website ("The Myers & Briggs Foundation - How Frequent Is My Type"). Looking at some of the famous people who share my personality type was fun and eye opening. Based upon the historical figures listed, INTJ’s tend to be atheist, secular humanist, sociopathic, radical and narcissistic. They can also be very influential when they are focused correctly. Some of the more modern famous names include Mark Zuckerberg, Stephen Hawking, Russell Crowe and Jay-Z ("CelebrityTypes.com"). INTJ’s tend to specialize in one area, becoming obsessed with optimizing their knowledge within a field of study or occupation, in order to achieve perfection. Despite a drive for perfection, they can be very practical. I think this is, in part, due to their ability to understand new concepts and theories quickly. They take great joy from creating systems to solve a problems. INTJ’s enjoy time alone and like to focus the things that influence their world. These are just general characteristics associated with an INTJ. The various ways in which the different traits can be combined, in terms of percentage, means there could be a wide variety of personalities within the INTJ group. I don’t know how many times I have told people that I struggle with specific dates or numbers, but can remember concepts and theories with little effort. I can’t remember a name to save my life, but I will remember the basic outline of a movie for years. While my score indicates that I have only a slight tendency in this area, I know that in order to learn detailed information I first have to understand the concept. I will determine if the information I have been taught is true, valid, and consistent with the theory. If it is useful in that context, I have an easier time recalling
