Fake IDs are so important to undocumented workers that, people have made it into a business in California and for about $150 you are able to buy a package, which includes a fake green card and a Social Security card. It is estimated about $15 billion in taxes was from the undocumented in 2014, which was twice as high since 2002. At this stage of my life, I have learned who my real friends are, I have been pulled over a few times and my friends would always take a bullet for me. I have always been a good liar so they told me as long as I do not get in too much trouble they would be fine with my lying to a cop as to why I was driving, once I told a cop, “My friends are drunk, so I prefer to drive without a license then them intoxicated. It is just a scary thought to not be able to follow my dreams in the land of opportunity. As a college student it is hard to even think about my future, what do I do, earn my degree and move back? And even those that can get into college have little incentive to finish their degree. They are legally unable to work once they graduate”. Now try to put yourself in my position for a second. You are a college student without any legality here in the U.S trying to earn a college degree and then eventually search for a job. Where does one go? I currently pay for 100% of my college tuition, receive no benefits, and my parents cannot file for any type of tax
